As part of CampusNIL, Tasty Exchange is changing the way students eat, save, and connect with their favorite local restaurants near campus. Our mission is simple: help students stretch their budgets while supporting local businesses. We’ve partnered with over 30,000 restaurants within five miles of 2,200 U.S. colleges, creating a network that benefits everyone. What makes us unique? A whopping 80% of all revenues go directly back to student subscribers, so you get more value for every dollar spent.

How It Works

When a restaurant buys an ad on our platform (from $100 to $600 per month), we turn every cent of that advertising spend into gift cards for verified students at nearby colleges. No money is wasted—every dollar helps a student enjoy a meal, and local businesses see immediate results. Plus, we only launch promotions when there are at least 500 verified student subscribers at a college, making sure every offer is meaningful and appreciated.

Free Membership for Students

Membership is free for students currently enrolled at a university, college, online program, or technical school—or for those who graduated after December 2023. Once you join, your membership lasts at least two years from the program’s launch, so you can keep saving throughout your academic journey.

We’re just getting started! Over the next 12 months, Tasty Exchange plans to roll out to more than 2,200 colleges, 30,000 restaurants, and reach 3.8 million students nationwide. Our pilot program is launching at the University of North Carolina and nearby colleges, focusing on 250 restaurants in the Chapel Hill/Durham, NC area. This is just the beginning—soon, students and restaurants across the country will be able to join the Tasty Exchange community.
